THE APPLICATION OF BITTINGER SOLAR PARTNERS, LLC’S APPLICATION FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO CONSTRUCT A 5.0 MW SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATING FACILITY IN GARRETT COUNTY, MARYLAND

An informational public meeting in the above-entitled matter will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams and is scheduled as follows:
July 1, 2026 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The meeting concerns the application of Bittinger Solar Partners, LLC’s application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct a 5 MW solar facility located on approximately 24 acres of a 190.2-acre tract of land located at 1379 Frank Brenneman Road, Bittinger, MD (Tax Map 44, Grid 14, Parcel 45 and Parcel 61) in Garrett County. The meeting will begin with a brief presentation by the developer, who will be available for comments and questions.

The first docket entry will include the Applicant’s Petition and Environmental Review Document (“ERD”).
Written comments on the proposed Projects may be submitted electronically or by first-class mail. Commenters utilizing the e-file system are required to complete a one-time registration. All comments must include a reference to Case No. 9859.
